I hope everyone had a wonderful week and Halloween! Jeremy took this past week off to work on some things with the construction of the house and hopefully keep us on target with our December move in date. I spent a lot of time helping him out so there will be no recipe this week, boo.
The windows and door (except for the front doors),bathtubs, plumbing etc.went in this week. Basically a lot of boring but important things, lol, but everything gets us closer to the end result !
I’ve always loved Halloween. I love the trips to the pumpkin patch, picking pumpkins to carve. I love the excitement from the kids, trying to decide what they should dress up as. I love the tradition my husband and I started when we got married 14 years ago of watching one scary movie every week the month of October and ending with a marathon of scary movies Halloween night. This year was a little different because we are in a temporary living situation while we build so I am really looking forward to next fall when we are in our new house and I can decorate to my hearts content. lol
This year the kids decided to be a Colonial Ghost, a Vampire, Princess Jasmine, Spiderman, and Raja. I may be a little biased, but I think they totally rocked their costumes.
We always go trick or treating with my sisters and brothers in law and their kids. It’s always so much fun. This is always one of my favorite traditions and I love the memories my kids are making.
As much as I love Halloween I am excited to move on to November and the next holiday season and my birthday tomorrow. Celebration time ! lol
Until next time….
